Dr. Negeen Najafi
Dr. Negeen Najafi, a Bay Area native from Northern California, discovered her passion for veterinary medicine at an early age. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at UC Davis where she worked at a Nigerian Dwarf goat farm as well as performed research on dairy cattle and methane production. Dr. Najafi loved Davis so much that she stayed for four more years to attend UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Ultimately, Dr. Najafi discovered her true passion was in small animal emergency medicine and she decided to pursue a rotating internship at VCA Alameda East in Denver, Colorado.
Currently, Dr. Najafi's professional interests include emergency and critical care medicine, specifically management of toxicities and endocrine emergencies. When not tending to the needs of her furry patients, Dr. Najafi enjoys hiking, backpacking,
snowboarding, rock climbing, and spending time with her four-legged best friend, Winston.
